Posted by Fig Leaf Software on Aug 28, 2017 4:38:54 PM

Following up on the Drupal 8 Module Training at DrupalGovCon with Hands-on Drupal 8 Training

Location: Online or Washington, DC
Training Dates: August 30-31, 2017
Audience: PHP and Drupal Developers

Drupal 8 Module Development introduces the coding concepts behind D8 and prepares you to tackle feature development beyond what is available through core and contributed modules. This platform is built in PHP and utilizes Symfony components to extend its accessibility to non-Drupal programmers. If you know how to configure a Drupal 8 site, but you've found limitations with what you can do with core and contributed modules; you are part of a new Drupal 8 implementation team, or you will be taking over on-going maintenance of a site built by a third party development group - this 2-day course will prepare you to manage any customizations required.

To get more information on this open source project sponsored by Google, please read more here. In short, this technology’s aim is to provide a speedy mobile experience by providing alternate pages for mobile devices. In practice this means that there is one page for mobile and one page for non-mobile.  The rules for AMP pages are very strict, and if the page fails validation the AMP page will not be displayed by Google.
